COVID-19 Information

Child Care Guidelines

We are going above and beyond to ensure the safety of all of our children, their families, and our staff.

  • Adult and child temperatures must be taken before entering the child care center.
  • The parent/guardian must confirm that the child does not have a fever, shortness of breath, or cough.
  • Staff must confirm that the child does not have a fever, shortness of breath, or cough.
  • Ideally, the same parent or designated person should drop off and pick up the child every day. If possible, older people such as grandparents, or those with serious underlying medical conditions, should not pick up or drop off children.
  • If any family member of a student exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, that student should not be brought to school until the family member can show evidence of a negative COVID-19 test.
  • If a family member tests positive for COVID-19, the student cannot be brought to school until the infected person is symptom-free for 7 days.

For More Information

All parents and caregivers of our students are encouraged to read the complete CDC guidelines for childcare centers, and the Florida Department of Health’s guidelines for schools and childcare programs.
